Presentation on Listening

By No Comments1 min read

In December of 2008, I presented at the Chicago PechaKucha Night on listening. The PechaKucha format allows each presenter 20 slides that change automatically every 20 seconds, giving the topic some room to breath, but also requiring that you make your point succinctly.

This presentation is basically the overview of not only the focus of my work, but also the impetus for creating Rhythmplex and using it to explore some of these ideas in greater detail. Working on this presentation helped organize some of my thoughts and understanding of what’s involved in listening, what effect it has on us, and how we might be more conscious of the process in many areas of life.
